Job Summary:
•Responsible for the efficient operation of various manufacturing departments to include multiple shift operations in the efforts to meet production goals and standards.
•Provide the necessary direction and support for supervisors / lead personnel to include yet not limited to operators in order to maximize performance in designated organizational units with quality and safety as your main focus.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related management field preferred.
Preferably experience in a finish/color woodworking position
Past experience in custom manufacturing environment or the equivalent of time spent in a manufacturing atmosphere that is in line with the skills required for this plant managers requirements.
Skill Requirements:
*Must be proficient in Word, Excel and/or other related PC software.
*Must have the ability to understand internal systems (ISIS & Great Plains) and manufacturing floor-scheduling process.
*Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Must have proven leadership skills demonstrated in a team environment.
*Must have proven conflict resolution skills.
*Must be self-motivated and able to operate effectively with little direction once trained.
